Register a New SIN Character

Sprinkler manufacturers register one- or two-letter SIN characters with IFSA, the industry clearinghouse for the Sprinkler Identification Number program. While every effort will be made to accommodate requests for character assignments, IFSA reserves the right to deny requests based on duplication or potential confusion. Once a SIN character has been registered and applied to a sprinkler, that character set becomes the permanent property of the corresponding manufacturer.
